As a forward-thinking enterprise, Acker feels a strong obligation to take care of and protect the environment. Thanks to the implementation of efficient and environmentally friendly manufacturing processes, our production is targeted at achieving sustainability. This has been rewarded with certification according to the environmental management standard DIN EN ISO 14001.
Wherever possible, we ensure that the raw materials we purchase have short delivery routes in order to minimise our carbon footprint. All raw materials used comply with the environmental regulations laid down by the European Union. At our customers’ request, we develop products specifically with the highest OEKO-TEX® classification (product class I) in mind. It goes without saying that all textiles can also be tested in accordance with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
